Hints of Spring in Trans-Riparian Boundary Walk of BWP
These photos were taken by IRLC Executive Director, Ed Robertson. On April 5th Ed, Jacob, Dublin and Baker Woods warden Matthew Carney canoed up river and walked/inspected the BWP boundary on the South side of the Indian River. Only a week ago the river was completely frozen and several inches of snow remained on the ground. A warm week of wind and rain has transformed our preserve. It will soon be alive with the sights and sounds of flora and fauna. We caught a fleeting glimpse of a pair of bald eagles yesterday. We are hopeful that they were not just passing through.
