Falling Leaves Hike
An intrepid and inquisitive group of hikers enjoyed the Baker Woods Preserve during this year’s annual IRLC Falling Leaves outing. Participants relaxed on stone and cedar benches, crossed plank bridging, and climbed stones steps while immersing themselves in the beautiful woods surrounding the Indian River headwaters. Mid-October portends the beginning of winter, which often arrives early in northern Lewis County. Soon these trails will be layered with abundant North Country snow. Now that paddles and hiking boots are about to be stored for the winter we hope you’ll join us for a ski or snowshoe on our "skier groomed" trails in the coming months. Think snow!
