Winter in Review

It is a cold April morning with a bit of fresh snow. At least 3 feet remains in many sections of the deep woods. It has been a good winter with over 100 ski and/or snowshoe worthy days on the BWP trails. Despite the current, somewhat wintry, conditions in the Baker Woods Preserve it is clear that spring is on the way. Spring flowers will soon emerge and already migratory birds are returning.
