Stewardship Means Embracing the Assistance of Fellow Stewards

The Black River Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) participated in a stewardship day extraordinaire on April 10, 2021. A total of two dozen stewards joined the Carney / BWP Stewardship Team to stain picnic tables and benches, sand and varnish signs, clear BWP S trails, mulch pollinator gardens and engage in pitched battle vs our most insidious invasive - bush honeysuckle. Sincere thanks to Linda Burns who organized the congenial and productive event on a quintessential and sunny early spring day. We hope that it becomes an annual event, Linda!
